Forget Gatorade -Think Cucumbers for Hydration!

Not only are cucumbers refreshing and tasty, they provide beneficial hydrating properties. Cucumbers consist mostly of water and contains important electrolytes (including potassium) along with other vitamin and minerals like Vitamin K, B1, B5, B7, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, silica, and calcium.

Hydrating drink full of Electrolytes!

I consider cucumbers as a superfood as they may not only help prevent dehydration, they are also a natural diuretic, which helps the body pass toxins through urine.

Plus, cucumbers are an alkaline food known for other health benefits such as:

Lowering blood pressure

Improving digestive health

Lowering blood sugar

Protecting nerve cells

Improving memory

Decreasing the risk of Alzheimer’s

Reducing redness and blemishes.
